“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” is a Korean hit drama on Netflix that follows the story of narcissistic Lee Young-joon and his highly efficient secretary Kim Mi-so. It is a romantic comedy, and you can walk in their steps by visiting the prominent filming locations of the K-drama, “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”, in South Korea!

Forest of Wisdom

It is here that Young-joon and Mi-so share an intimate moment over the book “Every Moment was You”. At this location, the two protagonists hold hands for the first time making our hearts throb!

Forest of Wisdom

Forest of Wisdom is a mix of a library and café where you can enjoy a good book with a cup of coffee. There are gorgeous floor-to-ceiling bookshelves packed with a variety of topics that can please bookworms and Instagrammers alike.

Bojeong-dong Café Street

This is the café where Mi-so enjoys her first blind date. It’s the same place where Young-joon and Mi-so create new memories as a couple in the season finale.

Bojeong-dong Café Street is a picturesque café where the main street is lined with trees. You can take a stroll with your partner in the evening after you enjoy a cup of coffee. Along with some excellent cafes, the area also features happening pubs, restaurants, and other clothing shops.

Hantangang Sky Bridge in Pocheon

The leading couple walks on the Hantangang Sky Bridge in Pocheon while sharing their childhood stories.

You can also see this bridge in the popular K-drama “Crash Landing on You“.

Hantangang Sky Bridge in Pocheon is perfect for enjoying the sunset as it hangs 50 meters above the Hantangang River canyon. The bridge can hold up to 1500 people at once. Although the bridge is stable and sturdy, it still vibrates with each step. The glass panels on the floor make it even more exciting.

3.1 Independence Movement Stairs in Daegu

Before their wedding, Young-joon and Mi-so go on a simple date where they walk through the streets of Daegu. In the series, we see them visiting the 3.1 Independence Movement Stairs.

3.1 Independence Movement Stairs in Daegu are an important part of the March 1st Movement that took place in 1919. The wall next to the stairs is decorated with photographs of the movement and Daegu city at that time. From the top of the stairs, you can get a view of downtown Daegu and the Gyesan Catholic Cathedral.

Jebudo Waterwalk

In the K-drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”, Mi-so looks over the ocean while she converses with Young-joon and tells him about her happy memories of time spent with her family here.

Jebudo Waterwalk used to be the ticketing booth for Jebudo Island. The observation facility offers an unobstructed view of the changing tides.

Nonttureong Batttureong

Lee Young-joon meets Mi-so’s family in the “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” K-drama on locations on Jebudo Island. And it’s also the place where he tries ganjang gejang (soy-marinated crab) for the first time.

ganjang gejang

Jebudo Island is famous for its ganjang gejang, and many tourists visit the island just to visit the place. Nonttureong Batttureong is one of the more popular restaurants on the island that serves this dish. It also serves hwangtae gui (grilled dried pollack) and haemul pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake) that are quite popular.
