K-pop is a standard term for popular music that originated in South Korea. This was termed as “gayo” previously which means pop music.
A notable example of K-pop culture includes the worldwide success of “Gangnam Style” which was followed by other K-pop boy groups such as BTS, and others.
K-pop has distinct values in many fields and it is not just limited to music.
