Busan has one of the best cafe scenes in South Korea and several Korean cafes are worth a visit in your trip to Busan.

Busan is Korea’s second-biggest city after Seoul’s magical ride of vibrant culture, unique bars, exotic bars, music house, and much more; what do you think Busan can offer? A lot!

It has various museums, parks, beaches. It also hosts the Busan International Film Festival, which is one of the most popular film festivals in Asia. Therefore, holding the capacity to attract visitors from all around the world. But if you want to experience the taste of trendy, you must go cafe-hopping. 

Seomyeon: City Farm House Cafe DOCO

This cafe is located centrally between Haeundae Beach and Busan Station. Seomyeon is known to be the best downtown in Busan. There are many cafes in that part of the city. However, among the numerous other cafes in Busan, City Farm House Cafe DOCO takes the cake. It is known for its homemade bakery and fresh-roasted coffee powder ingredient. The cafe is located close to a large apartment complex and is very spacious. It is connected to a super-narrow alley right next to the basement garage, but don’t lose your hope to find the treasure kept afar. Once you pass the entrance, you will come across a spacious and cozy garden with four bungalows.

It offers a variety of seating areas both – indoors as well as outdoors. The interior of the cafe is crafted with wood, stone, and rattan furniture. The interior of this cafe is picture-perfect for your social media uploads.  

When it comes to the menu, you will find tea, coffee, espresso, and delicious bakery option. Their special dish is called tiramisu cake, and you should definitely try that if you plan to visit the cafe. It is highly recommended as breakfast and snacks stop. This cafe is vegan-friendly, and the taste of veganized baked products found here is mesmerizing. 

Jeonpo-dong: Alike Coffee

This cafe is a miniature world with the aroma of coffee in its atmosphere. It is no doubt the most preferred place for coffee lovers. Jeonpo-cafe Street is the reason behind its success. It used to be a residential cum industrial area, however now it has become the trendiest location for locals to visit.

Alike Coffee came to the spotlight because of its minimalist yet modern design, simple yet environment friendly, and fancy desserts. Alike Coffee offers its signature menu, which contains less caffeine. If you are caffeine sensitive yet you crave some coffee savor, it will be your best choice. They also serve instaworthy desert, the desert they serve seasonally change, and they taste as good as they look. 

Busan National University: Cafe Bugok 

The area near Busan University has amazing restaurants and cafes around its membrane. Cafe Bugok found around the University used to be an ordinary house which now has been modeled into one of the standout cafes around Busan.

They sell tea, coffee, and delicious desserts. They are also specialized in making cookies and cakes, which are quite trendy, and all are up to the mark. Their desserts include Black Sesame Cream cheese, Double Chocolate Buttermilk Marshmellow, Victoria Cake which holds the capacity to make your sugar thrust high. 

Oncheoncheon Park: Cafe Cheek To Cheek

This cafe possesses a garden/patio aesthetic for your pending Instagram post. Ocheoncheon Cafe Street is located alongside the most beautiful park in Busan called Ocheoncheon Park. The aesthetic of this cafe represents the park. Locals often visit here to submerge in the placid, tranquil, and flowery aroma of the cafe. This place can be a good escape to avoid the hustle and bustle of your busy life and feel the atmosphere, sitting in such a splendid surrounding. 

This cafe is run by a florist and a pâtissier. The desserts have lots of fruits and flowers. The interior of the cafe is white with numerous shrubs and flowerpots and plants here and there, giving the entire place look like a unique gallery than a cafe. As you enter, you will witness the whole place decorated with flowers. However, it is not only the interior but also the taste of the creative desserts which attracts the visitors. 

Nampo-dong: Cafe Volpi

Nampo-dong is one of the most attractive places in Busan, and it’s a must-visit attraction. It is a central commercial and shopping area in Busan. There is a wide variety of shopping centers and fancy restaurants, and cafes found there.

Despite having so many indifferent cafes, the best out of the slot is Cafe Volpi. They have a rooftop from where you can enjoy the unhindered view of Naopo-dong and even Busan Tower. Secondly, if you ever visit this place, you should definitely try the signature menu, ‘Volpi Chocolate latte,’ which is piled slices of chocolate on steamed milk – yum! The description itself is mouth-watering. This dish is the trendiest and tastiest dish you can devour on. 

Kyungsung University: Cafe Yi Jeongwon

 We all know aesthetic with good food costs more. However, this cafe is going to break the stereotype. If you are hunting for pubs and restaurants at a reasonable price, you can come over to Kyungsung University. This place is always bustling with college students who hang out with their friends on the shopping streets where you can find the latest and trendiest Korean Fashion. 

After enjoying the vibrant site of Kyungsung University, Cafe Yi Jeongwon is a perfect place to take a break. The cafe greets you at the end of the alley with a fairytale garden. The name of the Cafe Yi Jeongwon basically means ‘The Garden.’ The menu consists of a wide selection of coffee, tea, and a variety of homemade desserts. 

Haeundae: Cafe Prahran

Following the success of Jeonpo Cafe Street, Cafe Street in Haeundae, also called Haeridan-Gil, has also started getting attention and is coming in the store front eventually. Cafe Prahran features a botanical brunch interior and min-colored exterior. This cafe is mini with only four tables. Their menu includes coffee, tea, desserts, and sandwiches. Their special dish out of the lot is Prahran French toast, served with caramelized banana and seasonal fruits. 

Gijang: Waveon Coffee

Waveon Coffee is one of those dream cafes where you can have a look over the ocean view. Gijang is one of the most popular places among the locals. And Waveon Coffee is popular for offering picturesque scenery by the seashore. The interior is minimalist, artsy, and exotic. They also have full-size widow providing the customers with breath-taking views. It is a great place to relax and get the beach feels making it one of the best cafe in Busan.

If you stop by it and get the opportunity to visit this amazing cafe, you should try their signature dish on the menu called Wollae Latte. It is a rich flavor of bergamot and worth is definitely worthy of your Instagram feed.

Haeundae: Coffee Mandalay 

This cafe is in Haeundae-gu and is a vegetarian, international cafe serving healthy and exotic food. It is very well managed with high food quality and customer satisfaction. The packaging of the coffee is beautiful. They also give pickles and corn coup while you wait for your order.

Blackup Coffee

With a beautiful interior of brick, stone, and wood, Blackup Coffee rates as one of the best cafe in Busan. It serves excellent hand drip coffee and sample for tasting. The cakes are not too sweet and delicious. Matcha chocolate is one of their most recommended cake. The baristas are downstairs while the seating is upstairs.
