Jeju transforms into a magnificent place during fall, and you can enjoy the sights by exploring the top things to do in Jeju during autumn!

Jeju, which is on an island off the coast of Korea, experiences mild, warm weather for most of the year. The largest city on Jeju Island is Jeju City, the capital of the South Korean province of Jeju. The city is a well-known vacation destination with premium hotels and open-air casino facilities. The main transportation hub for Jeju Province is Jeju City. Jeju International Airport, the only airport on the island, is located there; the Jeju-Seoul route is the busiest airline route in the world.

On Jeju Island, autumn typically begins in September and lasts until November. The temperature ranges between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius on average. Jeju is an island, so the autumn foliage here is a really good thing to experience. Very stylish and ideal for your autumn travel plans to Jeju. Some of the few things that you can do in Jeju during autumn are discussed below.

Things To Do During Autumn In Jeju

There are a few places that you can visit during the Autumn season in Jeju. This season is like a silver lining to these places. Jeju undergoes stunning transformations throughout the fall. Golden-brown, green, and orange colors adorn the island.

Camellia Hill

Camellia Hill should be the first place you visit in Jeju during autumn. Many visits here during the winter, but visiting during the fall is the best way to experience this place. All different types of travelers adore it as it transforms into an autumn paradise in late September, replete with pink muhly grass and pampas grass. This is a place for almost 6,000 camellia trees and 500 different species of wildflowers. As this place is full of beautiful trees and flowers, it is best to visit in the fall and just enjoy the place.

1100 Altitude Wetland

1100 Altitude Wetland is home to rare and endangered species and was chosen as a wetland reserve because of its worth. You may also see stunning autumn foliage combining a crystal-clear stream and the beautiful sky. You can have a small hike in this 1100mts altitude wetland and see many indigenous plants and trees all around. In the fall season, the trails will be covered in leaves as you walk around, and the beauty is just so good.

Cheona Valley and Cheona Forest Path

One of the nicest autumn foliage sights can be available at the Cheona Valley and Cheona forest path, which is situated right at the tip of Hallasan Mountain. You can unwind while taking in the captivating scene of the changing leaves alongside the valley’s rocks and a line of trees. From Dol Oreum to the Cheona Basin, there is a 10.9-km Dulle-gil trail known as the Cheona Forest Path. This hike is worth taking as the autumn foliage trails of the forest path can amuse you.

Cheon-Wangsa Temple

Cheon-Wangsa Temple is a famous Buddhist temple in Jeju city. Ninety-nine peaks and valleys make up the picturesque scenery where Cheon-wangsa Temple is located. This temple is situated at an altitude giving it beautiful painting-like scenery. A sizable rock stands just behind the main sanctuary, and from its summit, a stunning scene combining a lush forest and an active straight rock can be seen. The one and only waterfall on Hallasan Mountain can be found if you continue down the valley close to the shrine. Under the rocky cliff, the area near the temple is ornamented with vivid autumn foliage in the fall. The trees, the leaves falling, everything about this place gives you a very good and calm mind.

Hallasan Mountain

Hallasan Mountain is among the three famed mountains in all of Korea. The mountain was given UNESCO World Natural Heritage status in addition to National Park status. All these three mountains give you a beautiful scene of Jeju city from atop. The Eorimok Course, one of Hallasan Mountain’s six courses, receives the most visitors in the fall. If you continue climbing the Eorimok course, you will eventually reach a hill that is 1,604 meters above sea level and get a breathtaking view of Jeju City covered in autumnal leaves.
