The grand finale of MMCA Seoul anniversary, named “lOgin Finale,” features three distinct segments. Kicking off in the MMCA Seoul, Jongno District, from 10 AM to 6 PM KST, guests can enjoy various activities including leave thoughts on a memory wall, snap photos at a complimentary booth, and enjoy classical piano renditions by the talented Chin Soo-young and Chon Yong-jun.
In addition, visitors can join one of two guided tours exploring the lesser-seen corners and the storied past of the MMCA Seoul. Outdoors, the museum will host Hula-Hoop contests for some playful competition.
The evening segment, 7 to 8.30 PM., features ‘Arcadia,’ a thought-provoking short by Jang Min-seung, and a live performance by Jung Jae-il, renowned for his compositions in “Parasite” and “Squid Game.” Post-screening, a seminar with Jang and Jung will offer deeper insights.
To top off the night, from 9 p.m. to the early hours, the museum’s ongoing “One Hundred Years of Travels” exhibit will be open. This exhibit showcases five recent pieces from multimedia artist Jung Yeon-doo, in MMCA’s annual Hyundai Motor collaboration. The night also promises tea ceremonies, poetry readings, and additional film showings.
