Check out the amazing filming locations of Netflix K-drama Forecasting Love and Weather in Korea and maybe you can forecast better than the protagonists!

“Forecasting Love and Weather” has captivated K-drama fans with its plot-twist-packed narrative. It depicts the upbeat tale of individuals who experience highs and lows at their job. This K-drama features Park MinYoung (as Jin HaKyung) and Song Kang (as Lee SiWoo), who play two weather forecasters in a romantic melodrama about their work and love lives.

Some fans of K-dramas might be wondering where the drama was shot. We have put together a list of locations used in the filming of “Forecasting Love and Weather.”.

Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA)

The building in which the characters work for the Korea Meteorological Administration is comparable to real life. It’s located in Seoul’s Dongjak neighborhood.

The KMA headquarters is a real structure. It was the national meteorological service of the Republic of Korea beginning in 1904.

At the KMA, there’s not much you can do. You can’t easily get inside without permission. What you can do is shoot photographs of the area.

The Place Seoul (Hanok Got)

Have you ever thought about how comfortable Jin Ha Kyung’s house is in the drama ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’? The Place Seoul, also known as WWOOF Korea Hanok Guesthouse, served as the filming location for Hyun Joo Ha Kyung’s house in “Forecasting Love and Weather.”

Around Hanok Got, there are several magnificent locations. You can stroll to the Bukchon Hanok Village in 7 minutes, Changdeokgung Palace in 2 minutes, and Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong Culture Street for 15 minutes.

Gamaksan Mountain

The beautiful filming locations of “Forecasting Love and Weather” also include Gamaksan Mountain.

The lovely surroundings of Gamaksan Mountain appear to be a welcome change for Lee Chi Woo. Gamaksan Mountain, located in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, is 657 meters tall. Because the rocks emit black and blue light simultaneously, they are known as ‘Gamak.’

Gamaksan Mountain is excellent for trekking. It has a suspension bridge, Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge, which is 150 meters long and provides fresh air and spectacular scenery to refresh your mind. Gamaksan Mountain offers hiking enthusiasts many different routes to explore. In Gaeseong, you can appreciate the magnificent vista of Songaksan Mountain and Bukhansan Mountain in Seoul.

Ichizen Tenpurameshi

The bar where Lee SiWoo and Jin HaKyung shared their first kiss, which changed everything between them, now serves food at Ichizen Tenpurameshi in the Namyoung area of Seoul’s Yongsan district.

It’s a popular Japanese tendon restaurant that opened in 2019. It would be ideal to taste their delectable tendon (rice bowl topped with tempura).

Seoulgyo

Lee Si Woo visits this bridge several times in this K-drama. One of the most beloved moments on this walkway is when Lee Si Woo and Han Kyung stroll across it at night (before dining in Old Mullae).

The Yeouido-dong to Yeongdeungpo-gu Seoulgyo, or Seoul Bridge, is a 236m long structure that connects the two districts. The views from this bridge across the Saetgang (Saet River) at Gyeongin-ro are quite beautiful.

Old Mullae

In episode 3, Lee Si Woo and Jin Ha Kyung had supper at Old Mullae, where they unexpectedly ran into their employment pals. Furthermore, for the first time, Si Woo and Ha Kyung openly expressed their feelings in front of the restaurant.

The owner of Old Mullae is clever enough to utilize the abandoned steel materials and make them into decorations. It gives Old Mullae the appearance of emerging right out of a 1990s American film. With the decorations, it’s an excellent spot to take a lot of photographs.

Samcheong-dong Korea Guesthouse

In episode 7 of “Forecasting Love and Weather,” Lee Si Woo recalls a childhood when he was waiting outside for his father at this guesthouse (which looked like a motel). It began to rain, and little Si Woo decided to look for his father, who had gone inside one of the rooms to gamble.

This guesthouse is popular among Kdrama fans. This location has been used to film a number of K dramas, including ‘Oh, My Ladylord!’, ‘Do Do Sol Dol La La Sol,’ ‘Flower of Evil,’ and ‘Hotel Del Luna.”

The River Café

After his workout, Jin Ha Kyung called Lee Si Woo for a morning chat to discuss their relationship. The River Café was used for the shot. Even though Lee Si Woo didn’t eat or drink anything in the drama, The River Café does, in fact, serve a variety of baked goods and beverages.

The River Cafe is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you have a tight budget and want to create memories, you may charter a boat for an excursion around the Han River. You may also take in the lovely sight of the Han River from the café.

Stone Hill by Seokparang

In episode 1, Lee Si Woo takes his girlfriend Chae Yoo Jin (Yura) to a restaurant called Stone Hill (Stonehill). Yoo Jin previously informed Si Woo that she desired to visit the restaurant. While Si Woo is delighted that he remembers her request, Yoo Jin informs him that she’d already been there.

Stone Hill is a restaurant that serves Italian cuisine. There is a wide range of foods on the menu, including pizza and pasta.

Gwangdeoksan Weather Radar Center

In episode 1, Lee Si Woo provides us with a spectacular view of Gamaksan Mountain and visits the Gwangdeoksan Mountain Weather Radar Center. Lee Si Woo goes to the center to check the weather machines and discovers that the ground temperature in Gangwon is too warm in early March. The Gwangdeoksan Weather Radar Center, located on South Korea’s Jeju Island, is one of the weather radar centers run by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).

Boot Cafe Seoul

In episode 3, Jin Ha-kyung (Park Min-young) calls the hotel she stayed with, Lee Si-woo (Song Kang), to inquire about her missing car key in front of this cafe. Boot Cafe Seoul is a coffee shop located within walking distance of Seokchon Hanok Village. The exterior of Boot Cafe Paris, the company’s headquarters, is drawn on the wall in front of Boot Cafe Seoul. It was once a shoe shop and is now a gathering place for Parisians.

These are only a few amazing filming locations used in “Forecasting Love and Weather.” If you’re ever in South Korea, check out these places! You might fall in love as well!
