The service is super affordable, with fees being about half the industry average. For instance, Visa extension services are available for as little as 20,000 won ($14), which is reportedly the lowest rate in Korea.

CU’s overseas payment users have grown by a whopping 151.9% in 2023, 177.1% in 2024, and 54.9% in just the first three months of 2024. And the number of foreigners visiting CU is on the rise every year.
