Seoul is gearing up for a spectacular grand finale in honor of Squid Game Season 3 on Saturday, June 28, 2025. This fan-packed extravaganza is set to be a part of the city’s “Seoul K‑Content Week.”
As the release date for the final season of Squid Game comes closer, Netflix is going all out by hosting a finale fan event to celebrate it. The event extravaganza is set in Seoul as part of the 2025 Seoul K-Content Week. These will mark the end of the globally popular and chart-dominating series.
It’s a one-day event divided into two parts: a parade and a fan event.
Squid Game Parade
The parade will kick off at 7:30 p.m. from Gwanghwamun. It will showcase iconic characters from the series, including the pink guards and the killer doll, Young-hee! The procession will last for an hour, and you can go to Seoul Plaza after crossing the Seoul City Hall. The Squid Game parade will also have interactive events and immersive performances along the route.

Squid Game Fan Celebration
After the parade, the official Squid Game finale fan celebration will start at 8:30 p.m. at Seoul Plaza. The event will also have attendance from series creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk. Additionally, series stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, and others will also be present to celebrate the event.
There is no need for reservations, and you can see the happenings on the big screen around the plaza.
There will be an exciting pre-event at Seoul Plaza, which starts at 4 p.m. You can check out different fun activities like a photo booth, a Soul Spot booth, and even play ttakji with the friendly Recruiter.
From 6:30 PM, the talented idol group Young Posse will treat you to a hip-hop medley performance.

When Is The Event?
The grand celebration of the Squid Game series will start one day after the release of “Squid Game” Season 3, on June 27, on Netflix.
The full event will be live-streamed on Netflix Korea’s YouTube as part of the 2025 K-Content Seoul Travel Week.
How Can You Be A Part Of This Event?
There was an option to pre-register for locals and tourists for the event until June 19. The application had some fun questions, such as, “Which Squid Game challenge would give you the best shot at survival?” and “Would you rather be a player or a pink guard?” Selected participants will receive exclusive seating and a special gift.
Although the pre-registration is closed, the event is open to the public. Standing room access will be available on-site. Additionally, the celebration will stream live on the official YouTube channel of Netflix Korea.
Other Events Across The World
The celebrations started on the weekend of June 6 when fans could visit a special pop-up experience in Shibuya, Tokyo, featuring appearances by the iconic Pink Guards and a unique jump rope challenge. The excitement continues worldwide with events on June 20 in New York and Germany; June 25 in Thailand; June 26 in Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Indonesia; and culminates on July 6, when the games come to a close in Korea and Taiwan.
